Milton Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade

Milton Brigade operates two fire-fighting tankers as well as one support unit:

Milton 1

Milton 1 Milton 1 is our heaviest tanker and our prime unit. It is equipped for fighting grass and bush fires, and also for and structural and vehicle fires.

Milton 9

Milton 9 Milton 9 is our light striker and mop-up tanker. It is equipped for bush fires.

  • Crew: 2
  • Tank Capacity: 600 litres

Shoalhaven Bus Charlie

Shoalhaven Bus Charlie Shoalhaven Bus Charlie is a personal transport vehicle used for tasks including ferrying crews onto a fire ground (and the all important provision of food and other supplies required to sustain firefighters on the fireground.) Other than a fire extinguisher, it has no firefighting capacity. Like all brigade vehicles, it has a First Aid Kit and (Automated External) Defibrillator (AED).

  • Tank Capacity: No water
